| General Rules - Breaking these rules can and will get you banned! |
[*]Do not defy the moderators expressed wishes!
[*]Do not upload our torrents to other trackers! (See the FAQ for details.)
[*]Disruptive behaviour in the Forums or on Chat Server will result in a warning ( ).
You will only get one warning! After that it's Sysops will determine your outcome! |
| Downloading Rules - By not following these rules you will lose download privileges! |
[*]Access to the newest torrents is conditional on a good ratio! (See the FAQ for details.)
[*]Low ratios may result in severe consequences, including banning in extreme cases!
[*]Seed all files to a ratio of 1.1 or for 48 hours unless you have spoken with a moderator first to clear reason.
|
| General Forum Guidlines - Please follow these guidelines or else you might end up with a warning! |
[*]No aggressive behaviour or flaming in the forums.
[*]No trashing of other peoples topics (i.e. SPAM).
[*]No language other than English in the forums.
[*]No systematic foul language (and none at all on titles).
[*]No links to warez or crack sites in the forums.
[*]No requesting or posting of serials, CD keys, passwords or cracks in the forums.
[*]No requesting if there has been no "scene" release in the last 7 days.
[*]No bumping... (All bumped threads will be deleted.)
[*]No images larger than 800x600, and preferably web-optimised.
[*]No double posting. If you wish to post again, and yours is the last post in the thread please use the EDIT function, instead of posting again.
[*]Please ensure all questions are posted in the correct section! (Game questions in the Games section, Apps questions in the Apps section)
[*]Last, please read the FAQ before asking any questions!
|
| Avatar Guidlines - Please try to follow these guidelines |
[*]The allowed formats are .gif, .jpg and .png.
[*]Be considerate. Resize your images to a width of 150 px and a size of no more than 150 KB. (Browsers will rescale them anyway: smaller images will be expanded and will not look good; larger images will just waste bandwidth and CPU cycles.) For now this is just a guideline but it will be automatically enforced in the near future.
[*]Do not use potentially offensive material involving porn, religious material, animal / human cruelty or ideologically charged images. Mods have wide discretion on what is acceptable. If in doubt PM one.

| Uploading Rules - Torrents violating these rules may be deleted without notice |
NOTE: To become and remain an Uploader on Tri-Tavern you must upload at least 2 torrents per week. If you do not upload at least 2 torrents per week you will loose your Uploader status without warning.
[*]Every torrent must be compressed with winrar in the appropriate piece sizes. (the exception are mp3 (music) and .cbr (comic book rar)) Every torrent must have a .nfo file and a .sfv file. (there are no exceptions to this) The description and nfo must be in English, you can add other languages in addition, but English is manditory.
Links to the necessary software to create torrents for us:
.nfo files: use a text editor like notepad (do NOT use Word)
.sfv files: Quick SFV
.rar files: WinRAR
.torrent files: MakeTorrent
video/audio bitrate utility: AVIcodec
[*]You must seed your torrent until it is snatched by at least 1 other person. If not, we will take your upload priviledges away. This includes any torrent that has been trashed. (If after 24 hours your torrent has no leechers, PM a mod to have it deleted - remember to seed the torrent until it is deleted)
[*]Upload as many torrents as you wish and/or as many as your connection can handle. Remember that the more uploads you have seeding, the slower the Up speed on each torrent. If you upload a torrent, You should give your uploads a priority, don't seed and leech a bunch of stuff at the same time while seeding a torrent that you uploaded. We recommend that you upload what your connection can handle. Our recommendations for one DVD 5 size uploads are:
0-100 kbps: 1 upload at a time
100-200kbps: 2 uploads at a time
200-500kbps: 3 uploads at a time
[*]No scat or puke videos - 1st Offense : You get banned along with anyone who downloaded the torrent you uploaded. No cracks, keygens, serials, hacking tools or other 'illegal' things.
[*]If you upload something that is freeware: The name of your torrent must be follwed by the [Freeware] tag and the torrent description must include a link to a site where the software can be downloaded for free.
[*]All uploads must include a proper NFO.
[*]All uploads must have a pic with them, if one is not avalible you must use the one provided on upload page.
[*]Only scene releases. If it's not on NFOrce or grokMusiQ then forget it!
[*]The stuff must not be older than seven (7) days.
[*]All files must be in original format (usually 14.3 MB RARs).
[*]Pre-release stuff should be labeled with an *ALPHA* or *BETA* tag.
[*]Make sure not to include any serial numbers, CD keys or similar in the description (you do not need to edit the NFO!).
[*]Make sure your torrents are well-seeded for at least 24 hours.
[*]Do not include the release date in the torrent name.
[*]Stay active! You risk being demoted if you have no active torrents.
If you have something interesting that somehow violate these rules (e.g. not ISO format), ask a mod and we might make an exception.
Torrents that are dupes, hacking tools "underage porn", cracks, keygens, serials, or other 'illegal' things will just be deleted and appropriate action taken. This is not negotiable. No warnings or explainations will be offered by the moderators and their word is the last word. |
